Double Chin Treatment / Neck Liposuction
Double Chin Reduction
Many people struggle to keep their facial and neck skin tight and youthful as they age, and simple non-invasive surgical procedures could become a necessity.
When you schedule a consultation with Dr. Salameh, you can discuss whether neck liposuction, a neck lift, or submentoplasty is the best option. Some people even get some combination of these three. Discover how simple it is to reduce your double chin and how short your recovery time could be!
What to Expect
Our double chin treatments are performed in our fully accredited AAAASF certified surgical facility. The longer and more intensive procedures are done under IV sedation or general anesthesia. Once your surgery is complete, you can expect some mild bruising, swelling, and loss of facial sensitivity. In some cases, there are also changes to your facial symmetry and pigmentation of the skin.
Recovery and Post-Op
Most people return to work one to two weeks after a double chin reduction. If you had liposuction, you can expect to return to your normal activities much faster than if you opted to have a more intensive neck lift.
If you follow all the post-op guidelines and maintain a steady weight, you can expect a single chin treatment with us to last a lifetime. There is no need for touch ups or multiple visits after your procedure is complete. Since each person is different, Dr. Salameh will discuss exactly what you can expect from your results and how to best take care of your newly enhanced face.
