Lana is not only our practice manager where she oversees the daily activities of the practice, but she also serves patients in the operation room. Lana’s favorite part of working at Salameh Plastic Surgery is the amazing work family and the love and support everyone has for each other. Lana was born in Akron, Ohio but she has lived all over the United States. She has a Diploma of Surgical Technology and a BSN in Nursing with certifications in BLS, Surgical Technician, and First Assistant. She is a member of the Association of Surgical Technology/First Assistants. Lana once worked at a radio station and did voiceovers for ads to help pay her way through tech school. And, she hiked the Grand Canyon from North Rim to South Rim in just two days! When Lana is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with family, scrapbooking, and working out.

Patient Care Coordinator

Britney is the official Salameh Pumper-Upper of the Salameh family! As our patient care coordinator, she is with every patient from start to finish of their time at Salameh Plastic Surgery. She manages their care, treatment plans, and follows along with their progress. As a patient care coordinator on the Salameh team, she is able to change people’s lives for the better. Britney is originally from Owensboro, Kentucky, where she grew up on a chicken farm with over 80,000 chickens! She graduated from Western Kentucky University with a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. She is an active member of the Bowling Green community and is actively involved in the Miles for Megan’s Mobile Grocery 5K. She is also an active member at Broadway United Methodist Church and spends her downtime training for races, watching reality TV, and spending time with her husband and two daughters.

Marketing Director

Cayla works mostly behind the scenes capturing all of the happenings going on in the office and in the operating room. She manages all of the marketing efforts including the social media pages, the YouTube channel, and local community involvement. Cayla is originally from Cadiz, Kentucky, and moved to Bowling Green in 2005 after falling in love with the Western Kentucky University mascot, Big Red. She has both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Corporate Communication and Marketing from WKU. Cayla is actively involved in the Bowling Green community and is a 2015 Leadership Bowling Green graduate through the Chamber of Commerce. She is also involved in the Professional Marketing Association of Bowling Green and is a member of the Hilltopper Athletic Foundation. In her spare time, she enjoys being with her husband Josh and daughter CeCe, and attending WKU Football Games!

Front Office Manager/Patient Care Coordinator

Mirela is the first face you see when you walk into Salameh Plastic Surgery! As our front office manager and patient care coordinator, she is responsible for preparing everything for patients and the staff. Mirela is the glue that keeps the entire group together and on task! Mirela is originally from Kansas City, Missouri where she attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City and got her Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration. She moved to Bowling Green in 2018 with her husband and enjoys watching scary movies and hanging out with family.

Certified Surgical Technologist

Kara works directly with all surgical and clinic patients throughout their time at Salameh Plastic Surgery. She is a coordinator of all pre-surgery appointments, follow-up care, and overall patient care for every patient. She also coordinates all of the operations that happen in the operating room. Kara loves being able to help change peoples’ lives and being a part of making them happy. Kara graduated from Southern Kentucky Technical College and Western Kentucky University with a degree in Applied Science. She is also a member of the Association of Surgical Technologists. When Kara is not working hard at Salameh Plastic Surgery, you can find her doing home improvement projects and hiking around her hometown Auburn, Kentucky with her boyfriend.

Certified Surgical Technologist

Brook is our resident dancing queen in the operating room! Brook is the surgical technologist that assists Dr. Salameh during all surgeries and ensures that all procedures are performed efficiently. She prepares and organizes the operating room, cleans and sterilizes equipment, and maintains a sterile environment. Brook’s favorite part of working at Salameh Plastic Surgery is being able to go in every day and have it not feel like work because of the fun environment and her awesome co-workers. Brook has an Associates of Science Degree as well as certifications as a State Registered Nurse Aide (SRNA), Kentucky Medication Aide (KMA), and Surgical Technologist (ST). She is a member of the Association of Surgical Technologists. When she’s not in the operating room, you can find Brook hanging out with her husband Cody or reading books to her three children.

Matt earned his undergraduate degree in nursing from Southern College in Collegedale, Tennessee. He immediately went into the operating room setting and found his love of surgery. Matt then moved to Nashville to attend Vanderbilt School of Nursing where he earned a Masters of Science in Nursing with a focus on Health Systems Management. After managing the operating room for a few years, Matt decided he really missed the direct patient care in the clinical setting. He attended Middle Tennessee School of Anesthesia earning a Masters of Science in the field of anesthesiology. After becoming a CRNA, Matt has worked in a variety of settings, from office-based practice to trauma surgery. All of these experiences have given Matt a unique expertise and skill set which has culminated in joining Salameh Plastic Surgery. It allows him to give each patient the best possible anesthetic outcome during their desired surgical cosmetic experience. Combining evidence-based practice and clinical expertise, it is Matt’s passion to serve the clientele of Dr. Salameh.

Nurse Practitioner

Heather is the Salameh Med Spa Nurse Practitioner and is an expert in all things injectables and fillers. Heather grew up in Glasgow, Kentucky, and graduated in 2004 from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. She went on to attend Vanderbilt University and obtained a Master’s Degree in Nursing as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in 2007. Heather has practiced in a variety of settings including cardiology, pulmonary, anesthesia, and aesthetics. In Heather’s downtime, she enjoys hiking and backpacking in multiple parks across the country. Her all-time favorite place to hike is Glacier National Park. You can also find her spending time with her husband and two children. Heather’s favorite part about working at Salameh Med Spa is taking care of patients and helping them feel better about themselves mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Patient Care Coordinator

Tamara is one of our superstar patient care coordinators, but jumps in and helps out wherever needed. From consulting with new patients to follow up appointments to being a surgery post-op caregiver, Tamara is well versed in all aspects of patient care. The team environment at Salameh Plastic Surgery is what keeps Tamara motivated and is her favorite part about coming to work! Tamara is originally from Sturgis, Kentucky, and went to Madisonville Community College where she graduated with an Associate of Science degree and a Certificate of Occupational Therapy. Tamara is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and has worked in various areas including hand surgery, post-acute rehab, and subacute rehab. Her experience and knowledge lend to her abilities as a patient care coordinator. Tamara’s claim to fame is winning the 2013 Miss Corn Festival as the Corn Queen. When she’s not dancing down the halls at work, you can find Tamara with her husband and two girls kayaking, camping, and being outdoors.

Patient Care Coordinator

Tara is one of our rockstar patient care coordinators. Her responsibilities include coordinating patient documents and files, prepping consultations, booking patient accommodations, and much more! Tara is a local from Bowling Green. When she’s not in the office, you can find Tara at the pool, kayaking, or spending time with her family. Tara is an avid baker and loves bringing goodies to the office to share with the team

Front Desk Representative

Kindra is a member of our Front Desk team and works mostly with our surgery patients on booking appointments, answering questions, and assisting all departments with whatever needs to be done. Kindra is a wonderful asset to the Salameh family and enjoys mostly getting to meet patients from all over the world. Kindra has a Medical Assist certificate and went to school at Western Kentucky University and TMIKY. You can oftentimes find Kindra spending time with her husband, Jordan, and enjoying time with their dog!

Registered Nurse

Jordan is a provider in our busy MedSpa. She assesses and determines treatment plans for our patients and is trained on all laser treatments. She also assists with lymphatic drainage massages for our post-surgery patients. Jordan is a graduate of SKYCTC Nursing and International Academy of Hair Design and Aesthetics. She holds certifications in Hydrafacial, Sciton, Bison, and Microneedling. She is also a member of the Kentucky Nurses Association. Jordan is a wonderful asset to the team and enjoys getting to work so closely with such a tight group of women. Jordan once sold all her stuff and bought a one-way ticket to Honolulu Hawaii and lived there for a summer! When she isn’t busy in the MedSpa, you can find Jordan traveling, attending festivals, hanging with family and friends, and going to the gym.

Registered Nurse

Beth joined the Salameh Family in 2020 as one of our operating room nurses. She assists with preparing patients for surgery, staying with them throughout their time in the surgical suite, and following up with them after surgery. Beth’s favorite part of working at Salameh is getting to be a small part of patients life changing surgeries. She graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Nursing Degree and is a member of the American Nurse Association. When she’s not helping out in the operating room, you can find Beth spending time with her husband and children, shopping, exercising, and traveling.

Kaitlyn joined the Salameh Family in 2020 as one of our superstar surgical techs. You can find her in the operating room where she assists with setting up procedures, assisting Dr. Salameh in surgery, and helping out with patient care. Kaitlyn graduated from Southern Kentucky Community and Technical College is a member of the Association of Surgical Techs organization. Kaitlyn’s favorite part of working at Salameh Plastic Surgery is getting to have a hands-on experience with helping to change patients lives. When she’s not in the OR, you can find Kaitlyn listening to music, traveling, spending time with friends and family, and being with her husband, Paul.

Licensed Surgical Tech

Cassidy is a member of our Rockstar operating room team! She works side by side with Dr. Salameh in surgery and assists with all surgery patients. Cassidy went to school at Southern Kentucky Community and Technical College and is a member of the Association of Surgical Techs organization. She is originally from Barren County, Kentucky and has absolutely loved being a part of the Salameh family. She is a new mom to her baby Piper and you can oftentimes find her spending time with family, camping, fishing, and shopping. Cassidy is a sweet ray of sunshine and our patients absolutely love her!
